The 6th edition of the China International Consumer Products Expo (better known as the Hainan Expo) officially opened in Haikou. As one of China’s leading platforms for promoting consumer goods and international trade, this year’s edition also marks the first expo held following the implementation of the island-wide customs regime for the Free Trade Port of Hainan. The exhibition brought together more than 3,400 brands from over 60 countries and regions and took place from April 13–18.
Uruguay participated for the sixth consecutive year, continuing to strengthen its ties with the Chinese market and reaffirming its commitment as a trusted supplier of premium-quality beef.
At this year’s edition, Uruguay Meats featured a 36 m² stand showcasing the excellence of Uruguayan meat products. Grab-and-go tastings were offered in three daily sessions featuring specially selected premium beef cuts, including ribeye roll, tenderloin, and short ribs, providing attendees with a first-hand experience of the distinctive flavor and quality of Uruguayan beef.

As one of the highlights of the exhibition, the INAC stand attracted importers, distributors, and consumers alike, further reinforcing Uruguay’s reputation as a reliable supplier of high-quality food products supported by full traceability systems and sustainable production practices.
Uruguay’s participation in this edition not only strengthens its relationship with the Chinese market, but also reaffirms the country’s strategic position as a trusted partner in the global supply of premium beef.
