Uruguay Meats proudly participated once again in Gulfood 2025, held from February 17 to 21 at the Dubai World Trade Center.
For Uruguay, this event represents a key opportunity to strengthen its footprint in the Middle Eastern market. The United Arab Emirates (UAE) alone accounts for 3% of global beef imports by value, with Brazil supplying nearly half.

One of the standout moments of the fair took place on February 19, when INAC and Uruguay Meats, hosted a reception for 100 guests at the stylish 25hours Hotel Dubai. Attendees enjoyed a flavorful journey through a curated selection of Uruguayan beef and lamb, prepared in a variety of styles that highlighted the natural quality and versatility of the products.

Renowned Meat Master Chef Frederic Casagrande led a masterclass during the event where he demonstrated expert techniques and shared insights into the flavor profiles and cooking methods that make Uruguayan meat exceptional. Guests sampled perfectly prepared loin and ribeye cuts, reinforcing the message of Uruguay’s commitment to excellence.
This global platform, now in its 30th edition, welcomed over 5,500 exhibitors from 195 countries and drew more than 130,000 industry professionals -solidifying its reputation as the world’s premier food and beverage trade fair.
