From March 24 to 26, Uruguay Beef proudly showcased the excellence of Uruguayan meat at one of the most important events in the U.S. meat industry – the Annual Meat Conference 2025 (AMC), gathering in Orlando, Florida, more than 2,500 professionals from across the supply chain: from meat processors and wholesalers to importers, distributors, and foodservice representatives. In this 20th edition, Uruguay Beef´s stand highlighted the attributes that make Uruguayan meat unique: superior quality, unmatched flavor, full traceability and 100% natural, grass-fed production.

Live tastings led by chef Sebastián Barcos featured premium cuts such as ribeye and loin, stressing out the qualities of our meat with innovative and tasty proposals.

The tasting included smoked sirloin infused with oak chips, sirloin skewers, “milanesitas” (bite-sized breaded beef), and grilled ribeye steak, all paired with traditional sauces such as chimichurri, criolla, and pesto. To complement the flavors, side dishes inspired by local tastes were also served, including cranberries and pickled zucchini with egg. Every element was carefully curated to showcase the versatility, richness, and global appeal of Uruguayan beef in contemporary international cuisine.
