Every year, this event gathers the main players in the meat sector and buyers from various retail chains in the United States. In 2023, the conference was held in Dallas, from March 6 – 8.
On its second day, a space with stands was set up for companies to offer tastings of their products to the more than 1,500 people attending the event.
Carnes del Uruguay was present for the third time at this fair with an INAC stand, and served several preparations with 100% beef from grass-fed animals, including tenderloin and Spencer roll, prepared by Uruguayan chef Sebastián Barcos. The quality of the meat received very positive comments.
The objective of participating in this event is to inform retailers about the characteristics of Uruguayan beef, consistent with what North American consumers seek.
