Uruguayan meats shine at the FHA trade fair: a success in Singapore

Uruguay Meats once again seized the opportunity to consolidate its presence in one of the world’s most demanding markets. The fair took place from April 21st to 24th at the Singapore Expo in the city of Singapore. Considered a hub for the region, Singapore brings together exhibitors from all over the world and visitors from across the ASEAN region, thus positioning itself as a key commercial player.

With a focus primarily dedicated to B2B, FHA hosted 2,700 exhibitors from 115 countries and welcomed more than 80,000 professional visitors. In its 48th edition, Uruguay Meats participated for the 4th consecutive year with a 54 m2 stand, offering grab-and-go tastings of premium products such as: tenderloin, ribeye roll and lamb rump.

On this occasion, the featured activity was a unique gastronomic experience led by chef Tomás Bartesaghi, who traveled especially for the occasion and delivered three daily Master Classes. The event was aimed at key industry players (including distributors, importers, retailers, and hospitality professionals) and was very well received.

These masterclasses not only enhanced Uruguay Meats’ presence at the fair, but also showcased the qualities and versatility of our meats through a variety of dishes.

In addition, a special menu was created for the dinner event “Night of Meats”, an exclusive gathering hosted by the Uruguayan Embassy in Vietnam. Held at the prestigious Tanglin Club in Singapore, the dinner provided an opportunity for guest Uruguayan chef Tomás Bartesaghi to present a menu that fused international flavors with a distinctive Uruguayan touch.
