Uruguay Meats promotes Uruguayan meat in the Middle East at the Saudi Food Show

From May 12 to 14, Uruguay Meats took part in the third edition of the Saudi Food Show, the leading food and beverage trade fair in Saudi Arabia, held in Riyadh. Organized by the same creators of the prestigious Gulfood fair in Dubai, this event has become as key platform for the food industry in the region.

With an 84-square-meter stand, Uruguay Meats continued to position Uruguayan meat in one the most strategic global markets for premium food exports. The space featured live tastings of cuts like beef tenderloin, ribeye, and lamb loin, allowing visitors to savor the renowned quality of Uruguayan meat. Virtual reality headsets were also available, offering an immersive look into the Uruguayan countryside and its natural production systems.

The tastings highlighted the signature traits of Uruguayan meat – tenderness, juiciness, and versatility – while reinforcing the brand’s message of natural quality and traceability.

As part of its promotional activities, Uruguay Meats also hosted a private reception at the acclaimed Roka Restaurant, bringing together importers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders. Guests enjoyed a curated selection of beef and lamb dishes prepared using both Middle Eastern and international culinary techniques, illustrating the adaptability of Uruguayan meat across diverse gastronomic styles.

Uruguay’s participation in the Saudi Food Show reaffirms its commitment to expanding its footprint in dynamic and demanding markets. Under the Uruguay Meats strategy, the country strengthens its position as a trusted supplier of premium natural meats to the world.
